Characteristics
After Stirling and the northern lowlands, the ride goes up to Inverness
and the famous Urquhart castle on the bank of Loch Ness. Then further to
Durness (cape Wrath) and back down to do some zigzagging in the Highlands
with plenty opportunities to visit some of the great Whisky brewers. A
difficult part in the trip will be to reach Rannoch station by the road
over Kingshouse to Black Corrie. Different maps give different readings
and I will leave this a mistery to you, just like it was to me and still
is, because I didnot have the time to try the road behind the Kingshouse
Hotel. Good Luck.
