The BP-station near Eijsden on the A2(E25) near the Belgium border. We are starting here around 12:00u. One hour ahead of the very unrealistic schedual for today.
The  super de luxe Roadbook reader is as well a good windshield for tho oncoming cold days.
Soaking outfits in the first open Hotel in 2 hours. For your information this is on the road to St.Die. The next morning we passed a truckers hotel/restaurant half a kilometer further down the road.

It can't be far now,... huh!
A nice view on Cap Ferrat from our bedroom window.

On the 'route Napoleon' , N85. In the background the clear blue Mediterranian sky above Nice and Monaco, some 150km more to the south. We're on our way back to the freezing drizzles in the north.

Time to stop.
The first signpost with St.Claude on it. On the onward trip we missed St.Claude due to a little navigational error. So here is finally the last leap to the centre of our trip.
Our Hotel 'the Piano'.
Near Namur (B). Today we rode extremely efficiently. At this point we have already covered some 700 km and it is still light. The average speed on this day was around 75km/h including the breaks over (96 km/h ex. breaks)
Also near Namur.
